Olympus EVOLT E500 Digital SLR
After a great deal of research into the most recent crop of digital SLRs, my wife settled on this Olympus model when it was time to upgrade our digital camera. She has always wanted a digital SLR and this is a fine camera, in my opinion.
I'm impressed not only with the quality of the pictures it takes, but the manufacturing as well. I've seen a number of cameras out there that despite a hefty price tag still feel like you bought them out of a vending machine -- cheap plastic construction, etc. -- but this camera seems durable and has a good feel in your hands.

I see that DP Review highly rates this Olympus dSLR. It has all the qualities I was looking for in a digital camera...If only my lenses were compatible, I would have seriously considered this camera.
More importantly, the pictures of Noah are simply adorable. Then again, Noah IS adorable, so I can't attribute this to the quality of the camera :)
