After a great deal of research into the most recent crop of digital SLRs, my wife settled on this Olympus model when it was time to upgrade our digital camera. She has always wanted a digital SLR and this is a fine camera, in my opinion.

I'm impressed not only with the quality of the pictures it takes, but the manufacturing as well. I've seen a number of cameras out there that despite a hefty price tag still feel like you bought them out of a vending machine -- cheap plastic construction, etc. -- but this camera seems durable and has a good feel in your hands.
