I had looked for an inexpensive shelf to show off a couple of trophies, but couldn’t find any sturdy enough for a decent price, so I decided to build my own. For about $10 in oak from Lowes, and a couple of keyhole hangers, I was able to build this shelf. I like it. What do you think?

Wow, that looks like one of those not so inexpensive kits you’d find at Lowe’s. I’m not sure I have the skillz for that–did you cut all the wood yourself?
Yep, cut the pieces with a jigsaw, then routed the edges. I had to countersink two keyhole hangers into the supports with a chisel. Then sanded, glued, and stained it.
